1st Day of filming

13th December

Hello!

Today we had our first day of filmilng! With help of our actors Aidan Williams and Chloe Hobden, we have succesfully filmed 1/3 of our final film. After a few initial problems like lack of plug sockets and the lighting units being to big for our filming area, we filmed the rest with no problem. Below are phots we took of ourselves filming, plus some shots of the actors costumes for continutity;

We plan to do more filming on Wednesday morning, once Charlie has finished the storyboard, and start editing Wednesday afternoon.

2nd page of storyboard

Hello Bloggers!

This is the second page of the story board, drawn by Charlie. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Charlie was unable to complete the story board over the weekend. However he will be finishing it on Monday while Chloe, George and Bennita begin to film the rest of it.

We have also had trouble finding a second actor for the film, due to people willing to do it being unable to get out of lessons. If by Monday morning we still have no actor, and if its alright by Andy and Andrew, Chloe has offered to step in .

We start filming tomorrow!

The Script

11th Decmber

Hello!

We have finished writing the script [See left], and have found one of our actors ready for Monday morning. However we have yet to find a female actor for the film.

Charlie is currently halfway through the first draft of the storyboard, which will be posted later this evening.

Filming will begin first thing Monday morning!

The Process has BEGUN!

10th December

Hello Bloggers!

Today the first drafts of the story boards are being drawn up by Charlie. George and Charlie have spent time on each frame deciding what techniques to use e.g. camera angles, shot sizes and movement. We also decided to make the piece more engaging we could use cross-cutting from the two characters.

Chloe and Bennita have decided to go get still pictures for our story boarding and research.

We have decided on our location. We are going to film in the Old Drama Studio, using both the studio and the balcony at the top. Above are pictures of our location. Bennita and George are also drawing up the prop list.

The process is underway!

Forming Ideas

Hello fellow Bloggers

We had our first group meeting, forming ideas for our preliminary exercise. We have decided to film a 1 minute sequence of a interigation of a prisener. We hacve also decided on what roles people are taking on:

Storyboard artist - Charlie
Location scout - Chloe, Bennita
Prop maneger - Bennita, George
Casting director - Chloe, Charlie
Director of filming - George
